Skin lightening effect of Curcuma zedoaria and Aloe vera

Hyperpigmentation is a common skin problem which occurs due to excess deposition of melanin on skin. The pigmentation process involves various steps such as enzyme activity, conversion of biomolecules, transfer of melanin pigment to skin cells etc. Therefore, the efficacy of any product meant for treating hyperpigmentation can be studied at any or all of these steps.

Eve fresh cream contains extracts of Curcuma zedoaria and Aloe vera which are well known for their benefits on skin. Also in vitro studies showed combination of extracts of Curcuma zedoaria and Aloe vera
  • ·         Reduces tyrosinase enzyme activity which is the key enzyme involved in melanin pigment production
  • ·         Retards the melanin formation in melanocyte cells and also
  • ·         Blocks the transfer of melanin from the basal layer to the upper layer of skin

And the effect of this extract combination in reducing skin pigmentation was further confirmed by Clinical study using 30 human volunteers (14% reduction in melanin within 3 weeks).

Hyperpigmentation worsens during summer due to excess sun exposure which can be avoided with the regular use of Eve fresh cream.
